Earlier this school year, author Simon P.J. Dorey visited the École Cleveland Elementary School and read to Ms. Mort's Grade 2/3 class.

It was so fun to see the joy on the children's faces as they loved the pictures and messages within the books.

Here's what Ms. Mort had to say:

"Ms. Mort’s grade 2/3 class enjoyed listening and learning from Simon Dorey’s stories. Simon read three of his books and the class was engaged throughout the readings. The students loved the colourful pictures and the messages in the stories. Their favourite was “The Outstanding Little Picture Book” because it showed them to never give up on their dreams. The class has been writing stories and loved to hear about the story writing process. They are looking forward to being able to read more of Simon Dorey’s work."
